George Hixson Fellowship

The Hixson Fellowship was established by the International Foundation in 1983 in honor of George F. Hixson, the first President of Kiwanis International, and to build the endowment fund of our International Foundation. A Worldwide Service Project was adopted by Kiwanis with the goal of virtually eliminating iodine deficiency disorders, and now, the ELIMINATE Project aims to rid 38 developing countries of Maternal Neo-natal Tetanus. Each contribution of $1,000 touches the lives of hundreds of mothers and their children. Kiwanis International has made a commitment to the children of the world to virtually eliminate this disease from the face of the earth.

G. Harold Martin FellowshipThe G. Harold Martin Fellowship also is a means to recognize people who unselfishly contribute their time and resources to the Key Club program. These people may be Key Club members, Kiwanians, faculty advisors,
parents, or teachers. Key Clubs, Kiwanis clubs, schools, parent groups, communities, individuals, Kiwanis-family members, or districts can all donate to the Youth Opportunities Fund via the Kiwanis International Foundation and, in turn, recognize someone as a Martin Fellow. Recipient Ronnie Davis |
